Meet sweetheart Odin who is an 8-year-old boy in a VERY temporary foster home.
He has to be out by SUNDAY Feb. 3.
PLEASE HELP THIS BOY. A NEW FOSTER HOME OR PERMANENT HOME IS NEEDED

Odin was previously kept on a tether outside 24/7, with no attention. He was very very lonely after his companion died. All he wanted was to be with his people. A kind family felt sorry for him and took him in but cannot keep him as they have too many dogs. Odin has to be out
by end of day Sunday.
Odin is such a loving, gentle boy and is deeply bonded to humans. He enjoys being indoors, simply resting near his family, going for walks, and is such a cuddle bug.
Odin deserves a forever home with the right people. He is easy going, and having a female companion would be the best, but he is also wonderful as an only dog.
He is great indoors and loves to lie on the couch with you. We look for adopters that work at home or retired that can give this handsome northern breed boy the attention he craves. No kids/cats/or little dogs please [our policy].

STORM - 11-mo-old male pup with

About a month ago, a team of trappers (HARTT) finally managed to capture a pup that had been out loose in the Phoenix area for over 3 months.
Storm is currently in foster with a pack of rescue Huskies. Storm needs a very experienced handler as he is a flight risk. He loves to be with his pack and may howl when alone - Storm is still very skittish. He will not come to you when loose in the enclosure but if Foster corners him she can leash him up and handle him, but he is still very timid with people. Storm needs more socializing with humans on a regular basis.
Heused to run the perimeter of the acreage looking for an escape but he is dong better now, not even trying. But in a new home he will be set back a bit. Storm is contained in a paddock with 8’ tall fencing and foster is working with him every day.
This pup is sweet, very beta/passive, demonstrates zero aggression and interacts with her dogs just fine. He has been fully vetted and neutered. He cannot go to just any home.
Foster says:
"Storm is so sweet. Once he’s relaxed, he will allow me to sit with him and pet or brush him. He takes food gently out of my hands too. He really needs a pack of his own that will accept him and play with him. Storm finds comfort in other mates. His howl is soulful and endearing. He had been attacked by coyotes when he came to me but has been completely mended. -He allowed the vets to handle him with relative ease because he tends to freeze or retreat when nervous. I love this little guy and would love to see him in an environment he can thrive in."
Wolfdog or feral-dog experience extremely helpful for adoption - someone around a lot to continue his training [works at home, retired, etc.] or a sanctuary that can rehabilitate him for his forever home. DNA results soon to come. Storm will need escape-proof containment as he is a flight risk.
Transportation help to his new home is available! We would love a home in a cool climate where Storm can play in the snow with a nice canine companion or two.

Tenny is a German Shepherd mix but we think he will stay smaller.
He's a very sweet boy, weighs about 25-30 lbs and has had some vaccinations. Tenny's owner recently gave him to a friend who works all day, so Tenny stays in a kennel for 12 hours. Previous owner goes over to walk him. He is not happy and tries to dig out and destroy things in his path.
He has not had the opportunity to be social with other dogs because the dogs in his apartment complex picked on him and were aggressive toward him, so it made him defensive. Poor Tenny has not had any training so doesn't know how to walk nicely on leash or behave indoors without supervision.
Tenny needs a patient handler that has experience training sweet pups that really only want to please. Tenny really needs a chance, or he will wind up in a shelter VERY soon [the friend is threatening
to drop him off].

Tenny never got proper stimulation, training or outdoor enrichment. He was kept in a kennel most of the day while owner was at work, and now in a kennel with her friend even longer. Poor dog! No wonder he is not happy.
And when he is out of the kennel he has no structure or boundaries. His owner obtained him from a friend without knowing anything about training or what dogs need. Tenny really needs some guidance and an owner that is around a lot to give him the daily exercise, training, love and the attention he craves. Another friendly doggie would be great as an ambassador.

We don't want this boy to wind up in a shelter but it will happen soon if not fostered or adopted. He is only going to get more frustrated with nobody around all day and become "unadoptable" in a shelter. He is lonely!

Very Adoptable!
Luna is a Husky/Shepherd
about 5 years old,
approx. 65-70 lbs., vaccinated, spayed.
[DNA records available]
She LOVES to play with other big dogs and is very dog social. Has never been around cats. She does really well on leash - will Stop, Go, Stay and responds to Come when off leash. Also Sit, Paw, some tricks, etc. Luna loves to hang with you indoors, and loves to be outside as well. She is very calm and well behaved as long as she is not left home alone.
She is a real sweetie.
Luna is very anxious when left home alone. She's had some kennel trauma [maybe from previous transport to Hawaii] so does not tolerate being in a kennel - she gets very stressed and tries to break out.
We would like someone that is around
a lot. She like company!
Huskies need a calm disciplined environment, nice fenced yard for those times when you are not around, as well as someone home to play with [retired, works at home etc.]. Husky experience helpful and a boy dog for company would be great!
Luna is very well behaved when hanging with her favorite people and calm with other dogs.
