MR. WOLFRED BRIMLEY was mistreated and dumped. His foster Mom found him and brought him back to balance with love, good food, and vet care. This black-phase, brown-eyed boy is now healthy and in good shape. Playful and youthful Wolfred’s big talent is loyal companionship. He will be happiest with his person(s) — and medium and large canine companions — and aims to please.
Mr Brimley is very smart, food motivated, and understands what you want. And he has a language all his own. He bellows. He howls. He grumbles. He groans. He is a hilarious character!👻
EXTREMELY URGENT NOW!
FOSTER CANNOT KEEP HIM
MUCH LONGER!
FRANKSTON, TX — Let's get him into a cool climate! Transportation help available.
Wolfred responds to kindness & attention and LOVES being brushed & fussed over. When he loves you, he just wants to please. He likes to explore, wriggle & roll, and join you for adventures. He does like to chase so needs a home without small animals. He has been kept outdoors in a kennel because foster has cats so he is not allowed indoors. At night he is allowed to roam the fenced property. He is lonely! And it's VERY HOT THERE NOW! Wolfred would love a big yard and to be part of a family. He is fully vetted & neutered.🖤 TRANSPORT HELP AVAILABLE! Wolfred loves car rides and he is ready to go to a cool climate!☃️

McKinleyville CA - LAYLA ... This poor girl was found running in the hot streets of a big city - skin and bones, abundant fleas, irritated skin from flea allergy, and recently had puppies!
We are looking for a home without kids, cats or small dogs for Layla. She already gained weight, is now 65 lbs. and gaining! Playfrul with her boyfriend!
Transportation help is avaialbe - or you can come visi her!
Layla is SO Sweet! She immediately snuggled with our volunteer Jandy who found her, and gives her kisses to say Thank You for saving me! Layla rode well in the car to her new Foster Home and walks nicely on leash. Oh she gets a little excited when first going out, but then responds nicely. Her new Foster Mom Yvonne spends lots of time training her.
Layla is getting TLC, real food, supplements, vet visits and love. She gets to run at the beach with her new bf and is looking forward to her very own home. Hopefully with another doggie friend to play with, but she could be amazing as an only dog with someone who is active outdoors and has lots of time to spend with her (retired, works at home, etc.). Her new coat is coming in nice and soft and she has lots of energy.
She loves to run on the beach!
This girl has suffered yet does not show it. She shows her appreciation with kisses and affection.
Combie

Amber Eyes

Now Urgent - Combie needs a new home!
Meadow Vista CA - this gorgeous 13-month-old boy Combie needs a home now that he is neutered. He has beautiful amber eyes, weighs approx 75 lbs, microchipped, is up to date on all vaccinations and is ready to go! This boy loves other dogs and is incredibly socially intelligent. Typically submissive meeting a new dog, he understands proper dog language. He is ok with small dogs but is not around them much and has limited experience. He walks nicely on leash with a gentle leader, but off leash he wants to go on walkabouts. Needs some recall training!
Combie has excellent house manners, does not go in kitchen or on the furniture and is not destructive. Poor Combie has to be kept on a 20' tie-out as the owners have no fencing [and tethering a dog can make them aggressive, distrustful or fearful]. He does not like to be outside alone as he loves company and wants to have fun with you. Combie has had training from a young age (they have had him since 7 weeks old).
In January a fire started in owner's pantry in the middle of the night. Combie had been locked in his crate throughout the chaotic incident and has suffered PTSD from it. After that he started getting anxious and resisted being crated. He started having panic attacks. His owner can explain more about this if you are interested. Since this traumatic experience Combie is now working with a behaviorist to help him get past this anxiety. He is described by the behaviorist as a confident, persistent optimist! He has his moments of insecurity but they are all helping him learn to trust again. His owner loves him but knows Combie needs an environment where he can be comfortable
Combie gets two nice hikes or walks a day and loves to play with his humans. We feel that Combie would adjust better to a home with other confident, calm dog friends and in an environment where he would not have to be crated as that triggers the emotional trauma. He could also sleep outside with other dogs if he wants to, and if the environment is cool, safe and secure.
A wolfdog-experienced handler would be best to help this boy progress into a mature and confident dog. This pup just needs a sructured and calm environment. If you are interested in adopting Combie, we would love to hear from you. Check out our webpage WANT TO ADOPT
